A lot of Americans have grown tired of politics as usual, because we are starting to wake up and realize that no matter who gets elected, not a whole lot ever really seems to change. This is not to say that the United States of America isn’t a great place, but that there are definitely some things we need to work on.
We are all imperfect people living in an imperfect world. But there is still more that can be done. Going to the polls year after year hasn’t really cut it. One could say it is irresponsible for able-bodied adults possessing common sense to continue doing the same thing expecting different results. In fact, that’s the definition of insanity.
Change does not “just happen”. There has to be someone or something actively working to make it come about. It is time for the common man to learn more about his rights and how to protect them. That is the only way things will ever really change–when the people begin to learn the Law and assert it against all forms of encroachment, whether by government or even between neighbor and neighbor.
When we cast off the inherent responsibility to take care of ourselves and manage our own affairs, we also cast off the inherent rights and privileges that come with it. It is not possible to delegate all of the responsibility to government, but keep all of the benefits and privileges for yourself.
Not taking responsibility for oneself comes with the burden of having an over-reaching government. It is an old maxim of Law that: “He who enjoys the benefit, ought also to bear the burden”. Join with The Common Law Office (TCLO) and support the Movement to lessen the burden.
We are working to establish community forums for educational purposes in order to help clothe you and those you care about with knowledge that could do more for you than you’d ever believe possible. Please take a moment to read the “About” section and familiarize yourself with TCLO, as well as contact us to get involved as soon as possible!
As always, thanks for liking, commenting, and sharing all TCLO content across social media and the web!
